Fall for These Cool-Weather Dishes & Drinks

Fall is fast approaching! Soon the leaves will turn gorgeous shades of red and orange, the temps will drop, and a nice chill will be in the air—setting the stage for Raleigh’s real ideal patio weather and our seasonal-inspired dishes and cocktails. While our menu stays pretty consistent year-round, there are specific items on our menu that just hit different during the cooler months. Take a look at some of our favorite food and beverage options at La Terrazza to enjoy this fall.

Our Top Fall Offerings at La Terrazza

Roasted Beet Salad
Beets reach peak season in late summer/early fall, making this salad—complete with sheep’s milk ricotta, toasted pistachio, local greens, and mustard vinaigrette—the perfect light option to enjoy this season.

Pork Belly
With its rich and fatty succulent texture, pork belly is just the kind of dish we all crave once the weather cools. Ours is also served with porchetta, fennel pollen, rosemary, and cipollini onions in agrodolce for a well-rounded dish.

Merzouga Pizza
Pizza is delicious at all times of year, but this one in particular really checks all the boxes for a satisfying fall meal thanks to flavorful merguez sausage, mushrooms, fontina cheese, San Marzano sauce, pickled onion, and pecorino.

La Terrazza Fall Dishes

Lasagna
Can you think of anything more satisfying on a cool fall night?! Our lasagna, made with classic ragu, bechamel, and fresh pasta, is the ultimate autumn comfort dish.

Ravioli Di Stagione
Creamy, rich, and decadent, this pasta swimming in a Parmesan fonduta is a favorite for its richness that satisfies on the coldest of nights.

Half Roasted Chicken
As the temperatures drop, nothing hits like an oven-roasted bone-in chicken. Ours gets the ultimate comfort treatment with a side of roasted potatoes and fava beans, all served with a savory au jus.

Romagna Old Fashioned
You can’t go wrong with an old-fashioned in the fall! This classic drink is made with Old Forester bourbon, Montenegro, salted honey, and bitters—a tempting concoction best paired with a cool breeze and cozy sweater.

La Terrazza Raleigh Red Wine Pour

Pinot Noir
As fall is a transitional season, a light- to medium-bodied pinot is a great option. Its earthy notes and red fruit pair beautifully with roast chicken and fall veggies.

Corali Grechetto
With balanced, savory notes of ripe fruit and slightly bitter but herbaceous aftertaste, this white wine from Umbria, Italy, is basically fall in a glass.
