Umbria Hospitality’s Samad Hachby To Open Terrace Dining Concept, La Terrazza, at The Dillon in Downtown Raleigh
The experienced restaurateur expands local hospitality footprint with a signature rooftop experience thanks to Kane Realty Corporation’s development work in the Warehouse District
Raleigh, NC – Several years in the making, Samad Hachby announced plans today to expand Umbria Hospitality Group’s presence in Downtown Raleigh with a third establishment. As a complement to the hospitality group’s flagship Italian restaurant, Mulino Italian Kitchen & Bar, and historic special events venue, Melrose Knitting Mill, Hachby sees this latest endeavor as a chance to grow with the city that the global traveler has made home.
“I’m constantly inspired by visiting other places, especially in the Umbria region of Italy, and bringing back the best of my experiences to share with our dining and special event guests right here in the heart of North Carolina,” shares Hachby. “I’m very fortunate to have made my home in Raleigh since moving here to attend NC State University and am proud to be able to continue to add more opportunities for our guests to dine with us as the city grows into a truly world-class destination.”
The ninth-floor destination at The Dillon will include a full-service restaurant, bar, private dining/special event space, and of course, an expansive terrace to enjoy Raleigh’s iconic skyline and sunset scenes.
